The Chocolate Museum in Norma was founded in 1995 and it’s the result of accurate studies and research by private initiative; The museum has its seat within the “Antica Norba” chocolate factory, which houses the exhibition halls with the intent of informing visitors about the origins, the choice and the ways for a correct tasting. The “Antica Norba” group started its activity in the bakery industry in 1956, which has been accompanied chocolate production since 1977. The museum structure has so far had an average of about 20,000 visitors a year.
Inside you can admire Maya tools, some information on cocoa plantations, packaging and advertising of the early 20th century, an old chocolate factory recreated with original equipment.
